The final of the V edition of the IDEASxWOOD Contest di Tabu, dedicated to the knowledge and application of wood in design and architecture projects.
Over 500 the competing projects, received from students and professionals from all over the world, a mix of influences and ideas that have marked this edition. The Jury was led by the architect Silvia Piardi, Honorary Professor of the Polytechnic of Milan.
The Contest is dedicated to the design of latest generation wooden surfaces, born from dyeing technology (multi-laminar veneers, inlays, wooden bas-reliefs, boiseries and floors); thanks to the partnership with Carpanelli, an over one hundred year old company from Desio, in the competition of ideas there is a large section dedicated to the design of furniture.
Tabu e Carpanelli every year, since 2018, they renew their faith in the future of the Contest. With the end of the fifth edition, it opens from 1 October la VI edition 2023/2024, with a new graphic design, renewed in the logo and communication and interesting updates to the format.
