PEFC certification gives products the added value of ecosystem protection and a lower impact on the environment, thanks to the controlled origin of the raw materials used.
A PEFC certified forest, in fact, is a forest in which a set of good rules recognized at an international level are respected. These rules are established by the non-profit association PEFC, together with other entities such as forest owners and managers, environmental associations and consumer associations.
Every year, external and independent controllers not only verify the application of these rules in the forest of origin, but also check all the companies that process the product, up to the end user. The objective is to guarantee a truly ecological product that respects the environment and people.
