REbuild, in its tenth edition, with new research on 'Green Homes'

REbuild, levent on sustainable innovation in the built environment, launches the program of the tenth edition and presents new research on 'Green Houses': EU directive is an opportunity for the country, but the differences between large and medium-small cities are significant.

Il 14 and 15 May returns to Riva del Garda REbuild, the event on sustainable innovation in the built environment. Like every year, together with the rich program which will involve over 60 people, the results of an ad hoc study carried out by the Iuav of Venice for theREbuild Observatory on the relationship between retrofit and property value: in medium-sized cities such as Padua, Mestre or Bergamo, the delta in the loss of value of non-redeveloped properties is double that recorded in metropolitan cities such as Milan, Turin or Florence.

Meanwhile, the first names of the REbuild 2024 speakers are filtering in: Martin Wood (Bryden Wood) will deal with Design to value: value at the center of design; Margot Pellegrino (Lab'Urba – Université Gustave Eiffel) will present some deep retrofit experiences that have been concretely implemented in France; Mahesh Ramanujam (Global Network for Zero) will speak on the new decarbonisation protocols; Dominik Campanella (Concular) will explain how to operationalize the circular economy in the construction sector; the interventions by Lia Turri (PwC Italia) and Davide Agazzi (FROM) on ESG criteria in the value chain; Angelica Krystle Donati (ANCE Giovani) and Andrea Ciaramella (Politecnico di Milano – Italian Proptech Network) will deal with Proptech, digitalisation and innovation of the built environment; Giuseppe Milano (Greenaccord Onlus) will speak on new models for the energy transition; Roberta Bulgari (Enel Italia) will talk about living well-being as a new and decisive driver of value; Nadia Boschi (Lendlease Italy SGR) will focus the analysis on materials, from the recovery of the past to the innovations of tomorrow; Walter Cugno (Thales Alenia) will develop a reflection on living and living in space, an environment that does not allow waste of any kind and which makes the most of available resources thanks to technologies that in the future will be able to be integrated into constructions on Earth.
