Zordan confirms its B Corp status with a growing score

Zordan, Valdagne company active in the creation of retail spaces for luxury brands, announces the second renewal of its status B Corp with the achievement of a score of 124,7/200, a further improvement compared to the previous evaluation.

The company, B Corp e Benefit company since 2016, it had already improved its rating in 2019, on the occasion of the first confirmation. The standard promoted by the B Corp movement, to which the company voluntarily adheres, distinguishes companies that satisfy the highest requirements of responsibility and transparency in ESG areas and recognizes the concrete commitment to achieving the objectives declared in the dimensions of sustainability.

“We are honored by the renewal of the recognition, which reflects the commitment of all the companies in the group. In recent years we have grown significantly in terms of size. We welcomed 52 people and moved to two new factories, one in Italy and one in Michigan, USA, both designed according to the LEED standard. This is why we are happy to have managed not only to maintain, but also to improve our performance, which refers to the average of the branch results. Over the last three years we have made a further evolution: for the first time we have supported our customers in the process of reducing the climate impact of their retail network. This allows us to target behaviors on a much larger scale, amplifying the positive impact. We are also committed to making the American production branch increasingly autonomous in serving the local market to reduce the impact of transporting finished products", says Monica Panozzo, Impact Manager.

The score obtained is the result of the evaluation of company performance on the five impact areas measured by B Impact Assessment (governance, customers, workers, environment, local community) with the aim of measuring the creation of value for all corporate stakeholders. The objective of the B Corp movement, in fact, is to use business as a force for the common good, generating a positive impact on the ecosystem in which the company is inserted.
