Italian exports of woodworking technologies close 2023 on the rise

They were published recently definitive data 2023 relating to the export of Italian woodworking technologies from Istat. Exports, which represent around 70% of what is produced, are closing growing (+2,6%) and confirm that the sector in 2023, despite a less satisfactory trend in orders compared to the excellent data of previous years, still managed to express itself positively.

- United States confirm themselves as the first country to purchase Italian technology with 185 million euro, but down compared to 2022; they follow France and Germany with, respectively, 148 and 125 million euros. Poland experiencing strong growth with 86 million euros.

They also recorded a strong increase imports 2023 (+6,5%) which in absolute terms translates into 301 million euro; from across the border the machines for il legno they mainly arrive (as usual) from Germany, with 33% more sales than in 2022, for a total value of 156 million euros.
